PROFESSIONAL COACHING TEAM
The training process at AC Milan Camp Kranjska Gora is led by official AC Milan Academy coaches, supported by an international professional staff consisting of former professional football players, national team players, UEFA-licensed coaches, goalkeeping coaches, sports psychology experts, and sports physiotherapy specialists.
Through our collective work, we create a professional, safe, and motivating environment in which young football players develop their technical, tactical, physical, and mental abilities according to the official AC Milan Academy methodology.
The goal of the professional staff is to provide every participant with a top-level football development experience and training based on the standards of one of the most successful football clubs in the world. AC Milan Camp Kranjska Gora is intended for children and young players who wish to develop their football skills through professional football training, an individual approach, and a high-quality sporting environment.
TRAINING LEADERS
Training sessions during the AC Milan Camp Kranjska Gora programme are led by official AC Milan Academy coaches who work daily within AC Milan’s youth player development system. Their role is to plan and conduct training sessions, implement the official AC Milan Academy methodology, and ensure the quality and structure of the training process throughout the entire camp.
The official AC Milan Academy coaches lead the main training sessions and set the professional standards on the pitch, while assistant coaches and the professional staff provide support in working with player groups and the individual development of participants.
Their responsibilities include:
- implementing the official AC Milan Academy methodology
- planning and conducting training sessions
- developing players’ technical and tactical abilities
- monitoring the individual progress of participants
- ensuring the quality and structure of the training process
- creating a professional, safe, and motivating environment for young football players

Luca Vaccari
Head Coach of AC Milan Academy (UEFA B)
Luca Vaccari is an official Head Coach of the AC Milan Academy holding a UEFA B licence, with extensive experience in the development of young players within the AC Milan system. He is recognised for his precise and demanding approach to coaching, with particular attention to detail, understanding of the game, and the individual development of each player. Through his training sessions, he encourages young footballers to develop their technical, tactical, and mental abilities according to the official AC Milan Academy methodology.His professional approach and high working standards provide camp participants with an authentic training experience based on the methodology of one of the world’s greatest football clubs.

Giacomo Cogo
Head Coach of AC Milan Academy (UEFA B)
Giacomo Cogo is an official Head Coach of the AC Milan Academy holding a UEFA B licence and actively involved in the development of young players through the official AC Milan methodology. He is recognised for his modern coaching approach and his ability to present the AC Milan Academy methodology to young players in a motivating and understandable way. His training sessions focus not only on football development, but also on promoting sporting values, discipline, and a professional attitude towards sport.Through his daily work on the pitch, he brings experience, energy, and the football philosophy for which the AC Milan Academy is recognised worldwide.
ASSISTANT COACHES
In addition to the official AC Milan Academy coaches, the camp staff includes former professional football players, national team players, and UEFA-licensed coaches from Croatia and Slovenia.
Assistant coaches support the AC Milan Academy coaches during training sessions, group work, and the individual development of each participant. Through experience gained in professional clubs, national teams, and football academies, they contribute to the quality of the training process and help young players understand and adopt the official AC Milan Academy methodology.
Their role is not to take over the main training sessions, but to provide professional support on the field, maintain high-quality communication with players, further explain training tasks, and create the conditions for each participant to make the most of the professional football programme of AC Milan Camp.

Fabian Komljenović
Assistant Coach
Fabian Komljenović is a former professional football player and UEFA Pro licensed coach with extensive international experience in professional football and youth player development.During his playing career, he played for Schalke 04, Genk, Dinamo Zagreb, and Rijeka, where he gained valuable experience in a top-level European football environment. Today, he works as a professional coach and serves as a member of the Kyrgyzstan national team coaching staff under the leadership of Robert Prosinečki.With his extensive experience, professional approach, and high working standards, he actively supports the AC Milan Academy coaches and contributes to the development of young football players through an individual approach, professional coaching, and the transfer of knowledge gained at the highest level of football.

Elvis Brajković
Assistant Coach
Elvis Brajković is a former Croatian international and UEFA-licensed coach with a distinguished international playing and coaching career.During his professional career, he played for HNK Rijeka, HNK Hajduk Split, TSV 1860 München, Hellas Verona, Santos Laguna, Atlante, and Hapoel Petah Tikva. As a member of the Croatian national team, he earned eight international appearances and participated in the 1996 UEFA European Championship.After concluding his playing career, he worked as a coach of youth categories at HNK Rijeka and as a member of the Croatian U-17 national team coaching staff. Today, he passes on his extensive experience in working with young players to new generations of footballers through a professional approach, the development of technical skills, and an understanding of the modern game. As part of the professional team of AC Milan Camp Kranjska Gora, he supports the AC Milan Academy coaches and helps young players understand the demands of professional training while developing discipline, self-confidence, and a strong sporting mentality.

Damir Milinović
Assistant Coach
Damir Milinović is a former Croatian international and UEFA-licensed coach with extensive experience in professional football both in Croatia and abroad.During his playing career, he represented Rijeka, Dinamo Zagreb, VfL Bochum, NK Zagreb, Austria Salzburg, and Pomorac. As a member of the Croatian national team, he gained experience at the highest international level.Throughout his coaching career, he has managed numerous professional clubs, most notably FC Koper, with whom he secured promotion back to the Slovenian First League. As head coach of HNK Segesta Sisak, he achieved first place and led the club to promotion to a higher division.His extensive experience working with both senior and youth players represents significant value for the development of camp participants and further contributes to the quality of the professional programme.

Robert Marušić
Assistant Coach
Robert Marušić is a former Slovenian professional football player, UEFA-licensed coach, and sports professional with extensive international experience.During his professional career, he played for ND Gorica, NK Primorje, NK Triglav Kranj, Maccabi Herzliya, and Viktoria Plzeň. As a member of the Slovenian U-21 and U-23 national teams, he made nine appearances and scored two goals. After his playing career, he dedicated himself to youth player development, sports management, and the organisation of international football projects. He is the owner of Victoria Sport Agency and actively participates in the development of young footballers and international sports programmes. During the camp, he supports the AC Milan Academy coaches and actively works with players on the field, helping them understand the training process and develop their football skills.

Mladen Pralija
Goalkeeping Coach
Mladen Pralija is a former Croatian international, professional goalkeeper, and goalkeeping coach with extensive international experience in professional football.During his playing career, he played for Hajduk Split, Šibenik, Čelik Zenica, and the German club Hamburger SV, where he competed in the Bundesliga, one of the strongest football leagues in the world. After retiring as a player, he built a successful international coaching career as a goalkeeping coach with Hajduk Split, the Croatian national football team, Lokomotiv Moscow, Sheriff Tiraspol, Istra 1961, and numerous other professional clubs.As goalkeeping coach of the Croatian national team, he worked with goalkeepers at the highest international level and contributed to the development of professional standards in goalkeeper training. Through his extensive experience and professional expertise, he helps young goalkeepers develop technique, self-confidence, and an understanding of the modern goalkeeping game.
PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT
The professional team responsible for psychological and physiotherapy support actively contributes to creating a safe, professional, and encouraging sporting environment. Their role is to care for the mental, physical, and health-related aspects of each camp participant’s development.
The sports psychologist and sports physiotherapists add significant value to the programme by providing a comprehensive approach to the development of young athletes – from football training and physical preparation to mental stability, injury prevention, and healthy sporting development.

Martina Zakšek
Sports Psychologist
Martina Zakšek holds a Master's degree in Psychology and is a Clinical Psychology Resident with extensive experience working in both sports and clinical environments. She works professionally in a clinical hospital setting, where through her daily practice she provides psychological support to individuals facing various emotional, psychological, and life challenges. In addition to her clinical work, she continues to develop her expertise in sports psychology, with a particular focus on athletes’ mental preparation, self-confidence development, emotional stability, concentration, and stress management.Sport has been an important part of her life since early childhood. At the age of five, she began her sporting career in sport climbing and, throughout years of active participation, competed in numerous national and international competitions. After concluding her competitive career, she remained involved in sport as a sport climbing coach, educator, and mentor to young athletes. As a member of the professional team of the AC Milan Camp Kranjska Gora programme, she contributes to creating a positive, safe, and supportive sporting environment in which young football players can develop self-confidence, mental resilience, discipline, and a healthy sporting mindset.

Špela Šturm
Sports Physiotherapist
Špela Šturm is a qualified physiotherapist specialising in sports rehabilitation, injury prevention, and physical preparation of athletes.She graduated in Physiotherapy from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Novo Mesto and acquired additional knowledge in the field of sport through studies at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Ljubljana. By combining education in physiotherapy and sport, she has developed a professional approach to working with athletes, with a particular focus on health, injury prevention, and the quality physical development of young players.She gained professional experience at Terme Šmarješke Toplice, Novo Mesto General Hospital, and the University Rehabilitation Institute of the Republic of Slovenia – Soča. During the camp, she is responsible for player health, injury prevention, recovery, and the safe sporting development of all participants. Her professional work focuses on sports rehabilitation, prevention of sports injuries, recovery following physical exertion, and the development of proper movement patterns in young athletes.

Manca Suhoveršnik
Sports Physiotherapist
Manca Suhoveršnik is a former Slovenian national team football player and a final-year physiotherapy student specialising in sports rehabilitation and working with athletes in a football environment. She began her football career at the age of six with ND Mozirje, where she spent years playing alongside boys, developing discipline, a competitive mindset, a professional approach to sport, and strong work habits from an early age. She later played for ŽNK Radomlje and ŽNK Olimpija, competing at the highest level of women's football in Slovenia. As a regular member of the Slovenian women’s national football team, she participated in European Championship qualification campaigns and Elite Round competitions, gaining valuable experience in professional and international sporting environments. During her sporting career, she suffered a serious knee injury and underwent three surgical procedures followed by a multi-year rehabilitation process. This experience further directed her towards the field of sports physiotherapy and athlete rehabilitation.Her personal experience in professional sport and rehabilitation has given her a deep understanding of the importance of quality physiotherapy support, an individual approach, injury prevention, and the psychological stability of athletes during their return to competition.

Adelisa Kadirić
Children’s Animator and Camp Support
Adelisa Kadirić is part of the international team of AC Milan Camp Kranjska Gora 2026, where she will be responsible for children’s animation, organising fun activities, and creating a positive atmosphere throughout the entire camp. She gained experience working with children as an animator at international Spanish football camps for children, where she participated in organising daily activities, working with young participants, and creating a safe, enjoyable, and motivating environment for children from different countries. In addition to her experience at international football camps, she also worked as a PR and Social Media Manager for football clubs ND Slovan and NK Radomlje, where she was involved in organising sports content, communication, and promoting activities within a professional football environment. With her energy, communication skills, and approach to working with children, she contributes to creating a relaxed, safe, and friendly environment where children can feel comfortable, build new friendships, and enjoy all activities of the AC Milan Camp programme.
SPORTS ACTIVITIES
In addition to football training sessions, AC Milan Camp Kranjska Gora includes sports activities that contribute to the comprehensive development of young players. These activities are designed to encourage team spirit, coordination, communication, responsibility, and a positive attitude towards sport.
Sports activities complement the training process and help participants develop motor skills, self-confidence, social skills, and sporting character through play, social interaction, and structured tasks.
The objective of these additional sports activities is to ensure that children develop not only football skills during the camp, but also values that are important for their personal, sporting, and social development.
